Are There Fees?

Stipe charges a small fee for each transaction. Expect to see a Stripe charge of 30 cents + 2.9% of each transaction.

So if you charge a client $100, Stripe will retain $2.90 + $0.30 for that transaction, for a total of $3.20.

Your payout for this $100 transaction will be $96.80.

TrainWithMe will not keep any of these fees. The Stripe fee is retained entirely by Stripe.

For Trainers Outside Of The United States

If you are located outside of the U.S., your payments will process in U.S. dollars. They will transfer to your local currency when you receive your payout in your bank account.

Why Can't I Process My First Client's Payment?

If you're trying to process a payment for your first client, and that client is receiving an error message when they use a valid credit card to pay your fee (like the one pictured below), you may not have set up your Stripe account.

How Can My Clients Change A Payment Method?

Your clients are probably used to working in the app, so they may not be familiar with our web portal. And the web is where they can change their credit card.

How Can My Client Cancel A Plan?

Clients can cancel a plan on our web portal. Here's how:

(1) Sign in at www.trainwithmeapp.com
(2) Log into their account
(3) Click the profile picture to access their account
(4) Identify the subscription they want to cancel
(5) Click the Cancel Plan option

How To Refund A Client On The Web

When you log into the web portal and review your payments, there will be a Refund option available with each transaction.

To refund a client, click refund and follow the prompts.

Can I Offer Partial Refunds?

Yes! When you hit the refund button, as a default, the full amount of the client payment will be the refund amount. You can edit this to offer a partial refund.
